    Cruise executives revealed details about its customized chips for the first time this week. These chips will provide power for its Origin autonomous vehicle without pedal or steering wheel and other human driver control devices.
    Jenkins said that the development of internal chips requires a large amount of investment, but expanding the scale of vehicle production will help make up for these investments. He declined to disclose the amount of the company‘s investment in the project.
